Let's tweet !

Hello, everybody:

This post is devoted to exploring the possibilities of microblogging with 

 

a social network 

Activity one: Please, open a Word document and write your answers to the following questions there. There is some help at the bottom of this post in "suggested reading"

You have 10  minutes before we check your responses!!!

1) Google the meaning of "tweet" and copy its definition in your Word document 

2) What does "microblogging" mean? 

3) How many characters can you type in a text message in Twitter? 

4) How can you help your friends find you more easily?  

5) If you send a message with @username at the beginning, what does it mean?

6) What is a hashtag?

Activity three:Open and activate an account in Twitter. It is very simple. Click HERE
 

Activity four: Start following @ICAB_LP 

Activity five: Write your first tweet ! Say which most scary horror movie you have ever seen using the hashtag #halloween

Homework: 

Use the application Twitpic to upload a photo taken at ICAB. Let's see which one is the funniest!
